Autobahn Mobile Style Guide

This pivotal system defined Deutsche Bank's mobile visual language and user experience. It detailed patterns, components, and templates, ensuring consistency across mobile applications.

The system enabled intuitive interfaces meeting the complex needs of Deutsche Bank's diverse clientele.

The Problem

Post-deployment, Autobahn needed a mobile style guide to unify Deutsche Bank's brand across apps. This initiative created guidelines for teams, enhancing efficiency and brand consistency.

The goal was to provide a robust framework, ensuring cohesion across all digital offerings. The style guide emerged as a solution to these challenges.

My Activities

As lead designer, I orchestrated the Autobahn Mobile Design System document's layout and flow. I documented all applications, covering each interface and interaction element.

I focused on accessibility, color palettes, and interaction designs, while maintaining consistency and promoting style and pattern reuse across the system.

Specifications and Guides

The comprehensive styleguide served as a definitive reference, documenting component usage and intricate details.

It provided precise specifications for colors, sizes, spacing, and padding, ensuring consistency across all Autobahn Mobile Design System elements.

Outcome

The Autobahn Mobile Design System scaled efficiently across Deutsche Bank teams, ensuring consistency in mobile initiatives. While the printed book served as a token for senior sponsors, the project laid foundations for future mobile initiatives, establishing design direction for cohesive user experiences.

It streamlined development and reinforced Deutsche Bank's position in digital banking innovation, becoming a cornerstone for future digital endeavors.
